Cosmic Mandalas

Service Description

Mandalas are geometric and/or organic based repeating patterns created within a circular design symbolizing unity and the universe. For many eastern religions, the Mandala is a sacred art form and can be created with many mediums. Most begin with square format containing many concentric circles with one as the central point. Students will learn to draw their very own personal Mandalas using a technique that ensures symmetrical results every time! By the end of this short course each student will have created their own. - No experience necessary - Ages 8-12 - All materials included with registration: acrylic and watercolor paints, asst. brushes. gold, silver and black fine tip Sharpie markers, Prismacolor pencils, 36”x36” heavyweight paper, drawing/painting fixative, pencils, erasers - Refunded registration for cancellations made within 10 days of first class (*minus materials cost)
