Open Terrariums

About the class

In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll create an open glass terrarium from the ground up. We’ll add each layer, explain why it matters, and work with plants, moss, stones, twigs and miniature details to give your little world some personality. You’ll learn how to arrange plants, create depth, control moisture and choose the right location at home. We’ll also cover watering, trimming and long-term care so your terrarium stays alive after the class—which is always a nice bonus. All plants, materials and supplies are included. If you have a small object you’d love to build your terrarium around, bring it along. Come play in the dirt and leave with a tiny world of your own.
